The 5th consortium meeting of the UP!crete project took place on March 31, 2025 in St. Pölten. The meeting once again offered the opportunity to present the progress made in the working groups.

After a presentation of the agenda by the host, Professor Ildiko Merta, the scientific leader of the project, gave the first presentation and provided an overview of the progress to date. The three PhD students Daniella Mehanni, Farshad Ameri and Bayram Tutkun then presented the results of their working groups. Daniella Mehanni reported on the progress of the RG working group, while Farshad Ameri and Bayram Tutkun provided insights into the work of the RB and RF working groups. All three presented what has been achieved since the last meeting and the next steps within the working group. Another important point on the agenda was the presentation by Philipp Boogman from IBO, who spoke about the ecological aspects of the project. Previous findings were shared and the need for further decisions was emphasized.

The meeting, like the previous consortium meetings, was a valuable opportunity to review the progress of the project and exchange views on future tasks. The discussions following the presentations were constructive and many ideas and perspectives were contributed. Goals for the next consortium meeting later this year and beyond were also further specified.
